Beetroot Chutney Time

It’s Beetroot Chutney time again folks, after the success of last years batch of Beetroot Chutney I am repeating the same recipe again but with slightly less sugar.   My full beetroot chutney recipe here.

Of course we are going a step further this year with the home-grown ingredients as not only does it include Malham Show Prize winning beetroot but my Silver Cup prize onions as well! oh fantastic apples from a neighbours garden.  So just the vinegar & sugar to buy tomorrow before the purple hand gang can get together again and gently peel the purple beets in preparation for the chutnification!
