New Season English Asparagus

I know English Asparagus has been available for a couple of weeks now but couldn’t resist trying simple Asparagus and Hollandaise last week at the Craven Arms, Giggleswick.

English Asparagus & Hollandaise

Simple & just delicious…

Asparagus Tip! don’t cut off the ends, just hold both ends and bend and the asparagus will break above the woody stem, keep these for soup and eat the tip end as above!

  Some English growers have already started to crop early Asparagus but the season should start in the next couple of weeks, middle of April through May.
