Paul Hollywood Pies & Puds BBC

Paul Hollywood, Judge on Great British Bake Off has a new TV series coming to your small screens soon on the BBC.  The series is called Paul Hollywood’s Pies & Puds and starts on November the 4th at 3.45pm, BBC1 .  Paul has been scouring the land for produce, pies and puds to make and sample in his kitchen.

Paul Hollywood and his film crew from Spungold visited the farm and helped make Traditional Corned Beef, we visited the farm butchery, Town End Farm Shop and tearoom in Airton and finally I was invited down to London to the kitchen studio to film and taste the Pies and Puds to feature in our episode.  An eclectic bunch of farmers, producers and craftsmen gathered and some interesting dishes prepared. Our episode will feature Cob Nuts from Kent, Apple Strudel prepared by Falko from Edinburgh and our own Corned Beef Plate Pie.  Here is the finished pie photographed in the studio complete with corned beef press.
